WHO’S ON AIR? is a documentary project spanning the beginnings of radio in Türkiye through its transformation in the age of artificial intelligence. From TRT and public broadcasting to commercial radio, it connects the medium’s historical journey with the questions facing it today.
How will the role of the person behind the microphone change as AI-generated voices, music and new forms of broadcasting grow? The film explores radio’s past and future through the relationship between human voice, labour and the listener.
